PACKR North America LLC, Senior Field Service Engineer

Position Duties:
• Perform on-site installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of industrial filling and packaging machinery, including complete lines with depalletizers, fillers, cappers, and palletizers.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software issues, providing effective solutions to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and adjustments according to manufacturer specifications and customer schedules.
• Collaborate with engineering and technical support teams to implement system upgrades, modifications, and troubleshooting strategies.
• Provide technical training and operational guidance to customer personnel on equipment use, maintenance, and safety procedures.
• Prepare detailed service reports documenting work performed, parts used, and recommendations for future maintenance or upgrades.
• Maintain strong customer relationships by delivering high-quality service, responding promptly to service requests, and offering proactive solutions.
• Manage spare parts inventory, ensuring necessary components are available for scheduled and emergency interventions.
• Adhere to company safety standards, industry regulations, and site-specific health and safety requirements during all activities.
• Support the continuous improvement of service processes through feedback and technical insights gathered in the field.

Education/Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrotechnics, Engineering Technology or closely related and 36 months of experience as a Field Service Engineer or closely related.
Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as equivalent to a bachelor's degree.

Special Requirements:

3 years’ experience working with (1) installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial packaging machinery, and (2) PLC programming, electromechanics, and pneumatics. Must have ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.

Travel Requirement:

Approximately 80–90% domestic and 5% international travel to unanticipated locations
